Prince George's County, Maryland 03/22/2009 Prince George's breed ban is still in effect The Maryland Dog Federation has been working with state and local lawmakers for nearly a decade to preserve, protect, and defend responsible dog ownership. MDF accomplishes this by encouraging an educated, reasonable and rational approach to policy making and providing real world facts and insight. MDF has been working with Prince George’s government for nearly a decade to provide a fair and reasoned alternative to the current breed ban, which after a decade, has not produced the intended results and has in fact, resulted in millions of dollars in wasted county resources and devastated innocent families who have had their beloved family pets torn away from them.

government is too big or too small, but whether it works ...Where the answer is
no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be
held to account — to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in
the light of day — because only then can we restore the vital trust between a
